The Shannon Sea
Hello, My name is Capt. Mark Haley. I welcome you
aboard the Shannon Sea. The Shannon Sea is a 2005 26 foot Sailfish,
center console. She is powered by twin four stroke Yamaha 150's, which
will give you a quiet as well as a smoke free trip. The Shannon Sea has
all the up to date electronic, Furuno color fish finder, Furuno GPS
charter plotter, Furuno radar, two vhf radio's and a am/fm cd player. We
have all the top notch safety gear and there is a toilet in the center
console too.
When you come aboard the Shannon Sea, you will leave Northside Marina,
which is located in the Town of Dennis. We will exit the harbor and head
to fishing grounds. We can fish from Barnstable Harbor to the Brewster
flats or make our way off of Wellfleet or a trip to Provincetown to fish
the area of race point. There are no mates on your trip, I take care of
everything for you. If you are a novice, I will teach you the basic on
how to jig with wire or to cast a spinning reel and work a plug in
the water. If you are someone who has experience in fishing, then you
will enjoy our top of the line fishing equipment.
On the Shannon Sea, I provide all the fishing gear that is needed. We
use the best equipment, Penn 2 speed 10 KG reels, St. Croix boat rods,
Penn Slammer spinning reels with Tsunami spinning rods. If you chose,
you can keep your catch (legal size) or gets some photo's of your fish,
and then send it back to the ocean. All the fish you keep, will be
cleaned and packed on ice for you to take home. I will take photo's of your day as well as. You can go to the web page and view your action photo's.
I do welcome you also to take as many photo's as you wish and email them
to me so they also can be posted on the web page. Thank you again and I
